Obey the Rosé

OEI’s Culinary Stars and Whispering Angel Dinner, set for April 5, is an exquisite, sensual celebration of the season.

Spring is in full swing and summer is just around the corner. The flowers are blooming, and so are the rosés.

To celebrate the release of the spring rosé wines, the Old Edwards Club Inn and Spa is hosting the Culinary Stars and Whispering Angel Dinner. Usually served up by their in-house chefs, this year’s dinner will be prepared by a trio of celebrated chefs: Chef Sarah Steffan of The Dogwood at Blackberry Farm, Chef Whitney Otawka of The Greyfield Inn on Cumberland Island, and Chef Jessica Gamble of KR Steakbar in Atlanta.

On Friday, April 5, join The Farm at Old Edwards in the Barn at 6:30 P.M. for cocktail hour. At 7:30 P.M., the party will move to the Pavilion for an exquisitely paired five-course dinner of smoked salmon crostini hors d’oeuvres, braised white asparagus, lump crab cakes, roasted baby carrots, and Peking Duck. The evening will be presented by Paul Chevalier, former winemaker of Champagne Veuve Clicquot and Cloudy Bay. Paul will lead you through the rosé Lifestyle of Saint-Tropez with Château D’Esclans as he presents his distinctive rosés, including the global favorite, Whispering Angel.

The dinner will be accompanied by the soulful music of Dulci Ellenberger. With a style that ranges from Motown to folk, Dulci is a powerhouse singer and guitarist. The unmatched talent and energy that she brings to the stage is a performance that you don’t want to miss.
