We at Highlands-Cashiers Chamber Music Festival are busy working to present the best Chamber Music season ever – our 38th!
After so many years of bringing world-class musicians to the Highlands-Cashiers Plateau, you would think we would run out of ways to enthrall you with the exceptional performances offered by the Festival.
Such is not the case with the leadership of our artistic director, William Ransom. This season is no exception with the return of many favorites (the Coucherons, Gary Motley, Philippe Quint, and Elizabeth Pridgen, the Vega Quartet and Fei-Fei, Sara Sant’Ambrogio and Zuill Bailey and, after a long absence, Victor Asuncion). We are excited to experience the debuts of the Armida and Solera Quartets, Scott Rawls, Robyn Bollinger, and Norman Krieger.
We will again offer our Children’s Concert and Kilwins Ice Cream Social, an Interlude concert and our Fall Residency program, including a Saturday evening concert – all free to the public. Our feast and salon program continues to thrive; details on these dinners and small musical programs will be forthcoming.
Stay “tuned” for many more details and additions to the 2019 roster.
